After we lost our sweet daughter, Lizzy, I found myself adrift in grief. In the quiet that followed such an unimaginable heartbreak, my heart was searching for a place to heal, for something purposeful to put my love and energy into.

Around that time, I started looking at the bottles lining our shower and bathroom counters. I wanted something pure, wholesome, and truly natural for our family—free from harsh detergents, mystery additives, and long chemical names. I decided to try making soap myself.

I began like many makers do, with simple melt-and-pour bases, but the rhythm of working with my hands gave me something I hadn’t felt in a long time: peace. Soon, I wanted to learn the true, traditional art of soapmaking from scratch. And then, I discovered tallow.

The moment I introduced traditional grass-fed tallow into my recipes, my whole world changed. The creamy, velvety lather, the deep hydration, the way it restored and nourished our skin—it was night and day. Crafting custom scent profiles and balancing wholesome ingredients became more than a craft; it became my sanctuary. It gave my hands work to do and my spirit a gentle path toward healing.

Lady B’s Soaps was born from that journey. Lizzy’s bright light, sweetness, and spirit are folded into every bar we formulate—a little heart, honey, and heritage in every package. When you bring our soap into your home, you’re holding a labor of genuine love, quiet healing, and a mother’s enduring tribute to her sweet Lizzy Bee.
