Morning Wake Up

Vanilla and almond come first, sweet and warm, with a soft oatmeal-and-honey note underneath. It smells like breakfast at a good diner: coffee on, oats in the bowl, something sweet on the side.

We brew real coffee and use it for half the water, then add coconut milk, fine coffee grounds and colloidal oats. The base is olive oil with coconut, cocoa butter and castor, plus a little sweet almond oil, sugar, silk and kaolin clay for a creamy lather. The bar pours in two layers: a smooth top, and a bottom packed with grounds and oats.

Morning Wake Up does what it says on the label. Wake up Hippie is its patchouli-loving cousin.
