Pink Moonstone

Bergamot, orange and grapefruit open it, bright and fresh. As the lather builds, a soft dried-rose note and jasmine come through, and it settles on sandalwood and a soft musk. One fragrance oil from Bramble Berry carries the whole bouquet.

Underneath is tallow, the traditional soapmaker’s fat, with coconut, olive oil, shea butter and a little castor. Milk, sugar and silk make the lather creamier, and pink mica and titanium dioxide give it its color. We make it by cold process and cure it slowly.

Each bar carries a real rose quartz stone, by old tradition the stone of love and kindness, set by hand so no two sit quite alike. Pink Moonstone is named for that pale stone rising over a pink bar. When the soap is gone, the stone is yours to keep.
