Black Apothecary

Open the wrapper and peppermint is the first thing you meet, bright and cooling. Tea tree follows, green and medicinal, and lavender settles in underneath to soften the edges. In the shower the mint opens up and the whole bar smells like a jar of dried herbs on an old shop shelf.

We make it in our Heritage process, cooked the homestead way, from olive oil, coconut and shea butter, with avocado oil and a touch of jojoba for a creamy lather. Charcoal turns it black. Three essential oils carry the scent, and nothing else.

Black as an old apothecary’s ink and stocked like its shelves. Every village had someone who knew which leaf to reach for; this is their bar.
