Second Skin

This is vanilla for people who don’t want to smell like a cupcake. The cashmere note is soft and a little musky, and it keeps the vanilla close and warm instead of sugary. On the dry bar it’s gentle; in the lather it opens into something cozy.

It’s a plant-based bar, mostly olive oil, with shea butter, coconut and a little castor oil for a creamy lather. We cook it by our Heritage process. Moroccan red clay adds color, a spoonful each of kaolin and bentonite clay add slip, and a little titanium dioxide brightens it.

We called it Second Skin because it smells the way a soft sweater feels.
