Cedarwood and birchwood come first, dry and a little smoky. Oud brings the depth, and a soft cashmere note warms the whole thing up, like a good leather jacket hung by the fire. It’s woodsy and grown-up, and never sweet.
We make it by cold process with real Scout Dog 44 Amber Ale from Veterans United Craft Brewery in Jacksonville, one of our favorites. The base is tallow with coconut and olive oil, and silk makes the lather extra creamy. Earth-toned mica gives it its color.
Valiant Pint is for the fellow who’d rather be at the brewery. Now he can take a little of it home.
