Clean, herbal lavender from the first sniff to the rinse, soft and never perfumey. The lather is thick and velvety, thanks to tallow and two butters, shea and cocoa.

Just lavender, and real lavender essential oil at that. On the dry bar it’s clean and a little herbal; in warm water it softens and sweetens, the way a lavender field smells at the end of a hot day. One essential oil, nothing else.
The base is tallow, with coconut for bubbles, olive oil, and two butters, shea and cocoa, for a lather that feels thick and velvety. A little castor oil keeps the foam steady, and purple mica gives it its color. Cold process, slow-cured.
We named it Lavender & Velvet for the scent and the feel. A simple, elegant bar for slowing down.
